What we want

Indigo rising UK is looking for poems, prose and flash fiction of a high literary standard.


Submissions can be up to 2500 words. We will make exceptions based on the quality of the piece. We are looking for high quality, literary pieces as long as they are creative and original.


Flash Fiction;

Submission no longer than 750 words. We are looking for inspiring, original pieces of fiction.



Submit up to six poems at a time, no longer than forty lines each. Any forms are fine. Subject matter can be anything. Originality is important.



We are looking for abstract, authentic and surreal art and photography. Pieces that have a personal touch and generate deeper understandings.


Legal Information

All of the work submitted to our publication must be original and has not been published elsewhere. By submitting to our magazine, you agree that the work is your own and you own the copyright. All work accepted for publication will be posted onto our online magazine and will be up for nomination in our print edition. If you ever want to withdraw your published work, you can email us at and we will do what we can.

After the deadline for print desicions are made or after printing, the rights go back to the author. You have control over your work and can publish the same thing elsewhere.
